If you are in good to very good physical condition, you will enjoy this scenic route. Experience the white splendor between Säntis and Kronberg.
Start at the foot of the Säntis
This difficult snowshoe tour starts at the foot of the Säntis and takes you past the Chammhalden. The ascent continues through snow-covered forests via Langälpli to the Kronberg. Check whether the route is open before setting off.
The cable car takes you comfortably down into the valley. The Appenzeller Bahnen and the Postbus will take you back to Schwägalp.
Tip
Of course, you can also tackle this tour in the opposite direction.
