Koi fish are colorful, special carp. In Asia, they are said to bring good luck and success as well as symbolizing strength and wealth. They also look simply beautiful in the pond. Koi can live for 20 to 50 years if they are well looked after. The oldest known koi was called "Hanako" and lived to be over 200 years old.
