The Third Drone Show at Kronberg – An Unforgettable Evening at the Foot of Kronberg

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the sky above the Kronberg valley station will once again be transformed into a magical stage of light. For the third year in a row, Kronberg wowed audiences with its drone show: On Saturday, April 11, 2026, 6,000 guests in Jakobsbad enjoyed an unforgettable festival in perfect spring weather, featuring live music, street food, and 150 glowing drones in the night sky—complemented by a new highlight: 20-meter-high water jets.

An afternoon for the whole family

Under bright sunshine and spring-like temperatures, visitors enjoyed a varied afternoon program: The street food festival drew crowds with culinary delights from around the world, the fairy-tale-world the youngest guests, and, as usual, the toboggan ride a favorite spot for adventurers of all ages.

Live music and DJ sets to set the mood

In the early evening, the Enderlin Chicks took the stage in front of the valley station and created a lively atmosphere with their live concert. Children dancing, adults swaying—the band transformed the square into a huge open-air stage brimming with joie de vivre. Afterward, DJ Alex Wild kept the energy high with sing-along hits from a wide variety of genres, perfectly setting the stage for the highlight of the evening.

The highlight: 150 drones and 20-meter-high water fountains

At exactly 9:15 p.m., a 5 × 3-meter LED wall, spectacularly cable car from the cable car , signaled the start: A countdown counted down the final seconds, bringing the audience’s excitement to a fever pitch. Then 150 drones took off into the night sky and told a special story—the show was entirely dedicated to water. The drones traced the path of a raindrop: from the thunderstorm above the mountain, seeping into the rock, reborn as crystal-clear spring water from the Jakobsquelle, flowing down into the valley—until the drops finally gathered in puddles. With a touch of humor, the show named these puddles “Gonten”—a loving tribute to the host community. The 20-meter-high water jets impressively underscored the theme and added spectacular highlights between the glowing drone displays. Eyes wide with wonder and thunderous applause at the end—the show was a resounding success.

A cozy way to round off a special evening

After the show, the guests relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the evening with music at the food and drink stands. The atmosphere remained warm and relaxed—truly in keeping with the spirit of this special Kronberg event.
