Third edition of Eastern Switzerland’s largest drone show at Kronberg

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the sky above the Kronberg valley station will once again be transformed into a magical stage of light. For the third time, Eastern Switzerland’s largest drone show will take place—featuring hundreds of flying lights, live music, street food, and, this year, a theme centered on water.

On April 11, 2026, Kronberg invites you to an unforgettable experience around the valley station. What began as a spectacular drone event is now one of the most popular spring events in Eastern Switzerland—and is entering its third year this year. Hundreds of precisely choreographed drones will transform the evening sky above Kronberg into a thrilling light show, captivating the audience.

The program kicks off in the early afternoon: Starting at 2 p.m., the Street Food Festival opens with a wide selection of food and drink stands—more than ever before this year. At 5:30 p.m., the “Enderlin Chicks” will get the crowd going with their live concert, before DJ Alex Wild takes the stage at 8 p.m. to provide the musical transition to the drone show. At 9:15 p.m., the moment arrives: The drone show lights up the Kronberg sky and transforms the evening into an unforgettable experience. Afterward, the evening winds down with music on the grounds.

This year’s show is all about water. In addition to the impressive light show, visitors can look forward to unique, water-based special effects that take the spectacle to a whole new level. We won’t reveal any more just yet—the experience should speak for itself.

The live concert by the “Enderlin Chicks” and the drone show in the valley are free for all visitors. Since experience has shown that large crowds tend to flock to Kronberg, we recommend arriving early and using public transportation. The cable car the Mountain restaurant closed on the day of the drone show. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the event will take place on the alternate date, April 18, 2026.
