Revision 2026

From March 9 to April 2, 2026, all facilities at Kronberg will be closed for annual technical maintenance so that cable car infrastructure can be thoroughly inspected and prepared for the summer season. The summer season starts on Good Friday and will be launched on April 11, 2026, with the largest drone show in Eastern Switzerland in Jakobsbad, including a street food festival and a concert by the Enderlin Chicks – admission is free.

From Monday, March 9, 2026, to Thursday, April 2, 2026, the annual technical inspection will take place at Kronberg. All facilities will remain closed during this period.

The team of technicians, together with external specialists, is conducting a comprehensive inspection of cable car all associated subsystems. At the same time, the other facilities on Kronberg are also being checked, maintained, and specifically prepared for the coming summer season. This work ensures that guests will continue to enjoy the highest levels of safety and quality in the new season.

The summer season kicks off on Good Friday – and the next highlight follows just one week later: on Saturday, April 11, 2026, the largest drone show in Eastern Switzerland will light up the sky above Jakobsbad.

In the afternoon, the Street Food Festival invites visitors to enjoy themselves and linger around the valley station. In the early evening, the Enderlin Chicks provide musical entertainment before the impressive drone show crowns the day at nightfall.

Admission is free. For more information, visit: www.kronberg.ch/drohnenshow
